What a Difference 19 Months Make - Put on a Happy Face :-)
It was good to see Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin call out President Obama last night. Talk about tellin’ it like it is:
Remember the media narrative on February 11, 2011 when Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak was ousted? Remember the sheep who ate it up with malarkey like this:
“The Arab Spring is so beautiful! A revolution that started on social media will bring democracy to Egypt. Who cares that one of our few allies in the region was just overthrown? If you are looking at how these events will shape up in the future, you have a negative attitude.”
How many times did you read about the two RNC delegates who threw peanuts at the CNN camera operator? According to the left, the incident served as proof the entire GOP hates black people (and women). It’s too bad the CNN employee didn’t come out as a lesbian, then the Democrats could have exploited her sexuality as well.
One of the themes from Day One at the DNC was the concept that “government is the only thing we all belong to.” Our friends at Revealing Politics are in Charlotte and asked Obama supporters what that statement means to them.
‘Don’t it feel great to belong to the government’?!?!?!
So much headdesk.
STRAIGHT OUT OF THE EDIT ROOM: The Republican National Committee released this video today titled “We’ve Heard It All Before”, but I prefer to call it “Same Shit-Different Year.” It’s almost as if The Newsroom writer Aaron Sorkin, who plagiarises himself by recycling lines from Sports Night, The West Wing and Studio60 into his current project, pens Obama’s speeches. The sheep won’t care, because it isn’t about what he says. It’s about the way he says it.
It is that time of the campaign when famous people threaten to leave the country if a Republican wins. How original! I would expect a little more creativity from Michael Jackson’s daughter.
THE QUESTION OF THE NIGHT was directed at the Code Pink infiltrating leftist being escorted out of the Republican Convention: “Why aren’t you dressed like a vagina?”
The Revered Tom Morello and his IWW Hat
‘Rage Against the Machine’ (aka ‘Noise Against the Eardrum’) loudmouth Tom Morello likes to be the center of attention, especially at “progressive” powwows. Whether it be the distant memory known as Occupy Wall Street, or a Scott Walker recall rally, Morello shows up with guitar in hand ready to play the martyr.
Morello is rich and he cares about poor people. What more proof do you need?
But did you ever notice the IWW ballcap Morello flaunts at these gatherings? Did you ever wonder what I-W-W means? What it represents?
It’s no secret that Morello is a member of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW). He boasted about his association with the group in February 2011, but for some reason didn’t mention the IWW when he tried to smear Paul Ryan a couple of weeks ago.
The fact the IWW was formed by a group of radical socialists, including many who advocated violence and sabotage, should tell you everything you need to know.
A big problem is that people think that when the Americans were in office everything was all great and when the Latinos came in, then all the problems came in.”
